Custom Fields
Custom fields allow you to store values unique to your audience in your Breaker contacts.
If you imagine a spreadsheet, creating a custom field is like adding a column to your spreadsheet.
Breaker offers a variety of field types.
- Text: You can store any string of text in a text field. For example, if you created a field called "T-Shirt Size" you could store "M" or "Medium" as a valid value for the field.
- Number: Numbers must be stored as integers. These fields do not accept special characters or letters.
- True/False: These are Boolean fields that simply indicate if a value is a "yes" or a "no."
- Time: These fields store datetime stamps. For example if you created a field called "Ticket Purchase Date" you could store "mm/dd/yyyy" or "mm/dd/yyy hh:mm:ss"
- URL: These fields only accept URLs. For example, if you are storing Instagram profile URLs for your subscribers.
List of Default Fields
Breaker includes many default-fields out of the box. Before you create a new field, consider if an existing default field can meet your needs.
